| The Wood |
Amish furniture is crafted from hardwoods such as Oak, Cherry, Maple, Hickory, Walnut, and Quarter Sawn oak.
These woods are available in 20 different stains. |

| The Varnish |
| Amish furniture is sealed with two coats of catalyzed varnish. This varnish is very unique because it will resist most household chemicals, water, and some degrees of heat and cold. We recommend using a non-wax furniture polish about every six months to remove dust, fingerprints and/or any residue, or as needed. Avoid ammonia-based products or silicone oils, which may cause damage over time. |
